WHAT WE DO
We provide our customers with great, well-crafted locally-sourced artisan Mexican food in a comfortable unique environment. We specialize in seasoned rotisserie chicken, reminiscent of Mexican street chicken, traditional and fusion tamales, tacos, and traditional Mexican pozole. We've had a tamale food truck since 2012 and opened Tia's Big Sky in 2016.
Much of our produce is grown just for us by Kari, our in-house farmer. As well, our food scraps go back to the farm for compost. Many of our meats are also sourced locally and/or organically. Click here for more info.
THE FOOD POD
You may have seen us around in our teal food truck, Tia's Tamales. Even though we now have a brick and mortar, we still love truck culture. So we created a space for a permanent food pod for local food trucks. Call us if you're interested in setting up.
MEET KARI & KIM
TIA'S BIG SKY OWNERS
Kari, Tia's very own produce supplier, has been a dedicated organic farmer for years in the Missoula area, where she also runs a large incubator farm, Tower Gardens, to help beginning farmers learn the trade.
Kim, Tia's head cocinera, has a passion for cooking with local, organic foods and has owned previous restaurants in Costa Rica, where she lived for 18 years. She started Tia's Tamales food truck before co-founding Tia's Big Sky.
